Surrounded and overwhelmed! Isolation, pandemic, politics, division and just plain wickedness appear to have overrun this nation. This hoard of demons is wreaking chaos and confusion for many even in the church. Many are like Peter who walked on water and took his eyes off of Jesus and began to sink.
But Jesus…
He defeated the Devil on the cross. He destroyed his works and rose with victory in hand. He then sent the Holy Spirit to live in his church and empower us. Therefore we can now say greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Do you believe this Christian?
We walk by faith and not by sight. I pray for all who read this would have lens of faith and see how big our God is compared to whatever is weighing you down.
Greater are they that are with us than the wicked that surrounds us.
2 Kings 6:15-17 English Standard Version (ESV)
15 When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16 He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
A disciple moment with the Lord:
Listen: What is God saying?
Obey: What will I do with what God is saying?
Go: To whom will I take this message?
Glorify: How was God glorified in my obedience?
