I have been in church most of my life but still did not have a real relationship with Christ.  God to me was a wrathful God that I was scared of and looked for reasons to punish me for not being good enough.  Over the past 9 months in the Journey with Jim Constable, God has changed me. Through reading his word daily with the Journey guidelines, I am developing a relationship with Christ for the first time in my life.  I see the love of God along with the holiness. I realize my purpose is to serve Him. Christ is everything and the only thing that can fulfill anyone. He is teaching me through His word and through this discipleship process about Him and about what my life can be through Him.  

I have never been one to talk about Christianity, about God or my faith.  I now find myself unable to not talk about it. I see hurting people, and I know they need Christ just like I did.  Sharing that love with others is rewarding and fulfilling. It is a wonderful thing to get to know Christ. I would encourage anyone to take a step of faith and start this journey.  Your life will be forever changed if you will commit to spend time with Him in His word.
