Aim!

What is the aim of a disciple? Is the aim ‘works’, ‘sacrifice’, or ‘religion’? A disciple’s aim is love. Jesus loved deep, wide, long and high. We can only love this way first by being in Christ and second by spending time in his word.

Our aim must be love and love is Christ.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ESV

13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing..

Disciple time with the Lord:
Listen: What is God saying?

Obey: What will I do with what God is saying?
Go: To whom will I take this message?
Glorify: How was God glorified in my obedience?
